Dries,

This is a good service for general automated spam protection, but I  
don't think spam is the only concern when it comes to reputation.  We  
also see malicious users and OP's/IdP's.  A lot of grudges develop in  
our community over relationships, politics, and who has the best  
(basketball/football) team, which can collectively result in some  
truly regrettable -- and remarkably creative -- behavior.  That  
implies trusted community brokers and OP's operated professionally,  
with good logs and a good backup system if some slip through. :P
