Hi Abhi,
Yahoo OpenIDs of the form https://me.yahoo.com/a/<blob> are machine
generated identifiers that are automatically generated for the user.
They cannot be changed. Because Yahoo is an email and IM provider, we
did not want to generate OpenIDs that disclosed contact information by
default, as that could lead to spam and spim issues.
Yahoo users have the option to create customized OpenIDs using their
YahooID, or an alias for their YahooID. Yahoo users also have the option
to use their Flickr Photos url and MyBlogLog Profile url as their
OpenID. Users may have multiple Yahoo OpenIDs for a single Yahoo
account, but they can only have a single machine generated identifier.
Let me know if you have any more questions about Yahoo OpenIDs.
Thanks,
Allen
