[OpenID] Proposal for OpenID Language Extension

Hi!
Good idea, but shouldn't the language be determined via the browser settings
or via my personal settings at the OP?
I mean, if the relying party (who else) is an English website it would set
the xopenid_lang_pref parameter to "en", while I might still prefer to use
the OP interface in German (my default/native language).

Betreff: [OpenID] Proposal for OpenID Language Extension

Hi Everybody,

OpenID is gaining plenty of momentum worldwide, and it's important that
we support multiple languages. I started a brief proposal on the OpenID
twiki to allow an RP to pass the user's language preference the OP help
localize the sign in flow:

http://wiki.openid.net/OpenIDLanguagePreference

The proposal is based on OAuth's Language Preference extension.

I'm also very happy to announce that Yahoo's OP has experimental support
for several languages, including English, Spanish, German, French,
Chinese, Italian, and Korean. The twiki contains links to display the
Yahoo OpenID sign in screens in the supported languages.

Thanks
Allen
