Creating critical mass via the OP side helps the chicken-and-egg
problem. What I don't agree with from the article is that it benefits
the "large companies" to not accept 3rd party OpenIDs. I think that is a
false statement. Accepting 3rd party OpenIDs benefits any ad supported
site because it increases viewership.
