[OpenID] OpenID; a single choice

Hi Tom, André and all,

+1,

Tomorrow the SSO page of websites will look like a "Christmas tree"! ;-)
+Google Checkout, CardSpace, Orange ID, "SAML projects..."

If I understand the direct goal for an OP, be careful because I think that
we are distancing ourselves from the OpenID Concept...
For me this possibilities is ok with an agreement between an OP and a RP
with a owner framework but no with OpenID,
= There is a sort of illusion to use an protocol (OpenID) to advantage the
services of your Provider or Start-up...
Just one box OpenID in the SSO it's great, after be free to choose your OP
partner!

I don't remember if there are sentence (in specifications/Policy...) about
this important thing?
If no... It would be interesting to think?

Regards

-Snorri

Agreed.

This is choosing the easier path. We have to try and educate people to
recognize the OpenID icon. (feel free to _explain_ the link between
Yahoo! / Clickpass icons and the OpenID one).

I have strong déjà vu about this... remember when the first "Share
this on digg" icons started popping up everywhere?

Thanks for raising this issue Tom.
