These are essentially the same thing, though, right? They 
simultaneously E-mail (Google Alert) or post to another site 
(Technorati) links?

If the commenters were primarily employees of sites that existed to 
provide OpenID, there would be an obvious conflict of interest. 
Responses from fellow end-users who don't have a business model that 
relies on convincing people to use OpenID would be more credible. If 
(the appearance is that) we can't find any of those outside the OP 
employee pool, regular end-users don't have much of a chance to 
understand OpenID anyway :)

The best people, I think, are those with an established site that has 
gotten along fine without OpenID before; it's a bonus if they run 
their own OP *from* that site, and can show that they don't need to 
use a 3rd-party OP site or get anyone else to use *their* OP.
