Quick follow-up thought:

This would also improve fault tolerance, because, if an OP went down 
(or became suspect*), the user could say "Ask me!" and specify a 
second OP without having to go back to their site and adjust their 
headers.

*This wouldn't help to stop listing the OP in case of suspected 
*hostility* (lack of security), though; just if you suspected, for 
instance, it was tracking you, and you wanted to log in without 
having that authentication be tracked.

I'm picturing something like a checkbox below the Identity field, 
that says "Ask which of my Providers to use." and by default is not 
selected; mostly we just ignore it and our primary OP is used, but 
whenever we want to pick a different one from our list, we check the 
box and the RP looks at the XRDS file, prints out a list for us 
(formatted according to its own style, I suppose), and lets us choose 
which one we want the RP to send us to.
