I think the big achievement, for me, was coming up with Step Two in
this process; as the South Park inspired investment meme goes,

Step 1) [silly idea]
Step 2) ???
Step 3) Profit!

Except that Step 3 was "Lots of major sites become Consumers, at
least enough to deliver messages between users." and Step 1 was the
unknown; Step 2 being "Profit motivation!" (if users rather than
dollars were the currency). The missing step of "WHY would large
sites want to become RP's in the context of profit? WHAT rationale
makes sense and will pass muster when they ask, How does this make us
money?" has exhausted, for now, my ability to come up with decent
ideas.

I'm not used to this whole "thinking in terms of profits" method ;)
