[OpenID] suggested server for private SSO using openid?

Hello;

Newbie here.

Our organization is considering implementing openid as a single sign-on 
service for various web sites we run.

I thought our requirements were simple but I am having trouble finding a 
solution that fits.

* We want a very simple identity for our users, such as 
jblow.example.com, like at myopenid.com.

* multiple persons (i.e., not a single personal identity server)

* stores data in mysql.

Preferably in php, but alternatively anything that will run on a modern 
linux server. I am a php developer but no time to devote to a lot of 
work on this project.  Minor modifications would be acceptable. 
Services such as myopenid.com are tempting but not controlling the data 
would be a serious drawback.  The authentication server would not be 
under heavy/constant load in most circumstances.
