[OpenID] Yahoo and OpenId

One thing that piques my interest concerns Yahoo, openid2 and the "RP-discovery" feature.

Folks who implement webservices on vistaOS (and later) know that its default security model (not included in the "laws") requires "Registration" of the authorized (uri) namespaces that the listener may use. (If registration does not occur, least privilege rules kick in - which by default can creates UI hurdles).

Guessing, Ill venture the same is true on modern version of Apple's OS (BSD with mach kernel and Apple's trusted window manager)

It occurs to me to wonder how realms/SP-discovery/trust-point handling from openid2 should/would cooperate with such least privilege enforcement regimes.
