[OpenID] More on the Visa analogy (another question-set for candidates)

I signed in (initially with myopenid). Unlike 6 months ago, it worked like a dream first time. No issues. The SReg (or perhaps AX?) worked nicely.

Then, I half-altered myopenid in the member's profile to https://home_pw.myopenid.com on my pbwiki profile page.

Upon redirect to myopenid, the OP reported a protocol violation. It is the same or a similar error to that which I got when I tried to  qualify this vendor's openid service about 6 months ago. Last time, I recall verifying that the PDUs sent by PbWiki were indeed non conforming with the spec. The OP was correct.

I'm having difficulties getting at it: perhaps there was a DNS change and it has not propagated to me?

And the, I'm getting an invalid cert warning. (but that might be a consequence of the first).
