[OpenID] Several Questions for the Current & Future Board

Hey David,

Thank you for asking these questions:

1 – Now about the software’s Election, it’s already answered I believe ;)

For what concerns the election report (by this I mean the results of the
election), if I had to come up with a format, this is what I would choose.

(However, as a candidate, this is normally something I should not be
involved in.). This example below is given to attempt to answer your
question :)

This is an example of an Election Results Table which could be published
after the election; I would find it pertinent and transparent:

--------------------------------------------------------------

(Numbers are example)

Number of OIDF Member as of Dec. 24: 218

Number of voters in the period Dec. 12 – Dec. 24: 197

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Breakdown of votes tallied (anonymous):

Voter 1 Member since Dec. 7, 2008 4 vote

Voter 2 Member since Sept. 2, 2008 1 vote

Voter n

Voter 197 Member since Dec. 14, 2008 8 votes

------------------------------------------------------------------

Voting Results (ranked in order of importance)

1st. Candidate Name X votes

2nd. Candidate Name X votes

Last (17th) Candidate Name X votes

----------------------------------------------------------------------

2 – At the present time, I do not believe that this is in effect, but the

2009 budget has been presented by Dick Hardt, the Treasurer.

However, I would agree that we could be even more transparent for what
concerns the various ways the money is used, and we could request that every
expense above a certain amount (TBD) would be explained in the manner it is
done in an Annual Report (I have done this for several years in the past in
the course of business activities)

I remain at your disposal,

-Snorri

Objet : [OpenID] Several Questions for the Current & Future Board

Hey all,

I have a few questions for either the current or future board members:

1.	What kind of software are we using for the election, who created it,
and will it be released publicly for audit/inspection purposes?

1.	Do current candidate have an opinion about OIDF voting software
being publicly inspectable/available?

2.	Does the OIDF currently make it's budget and financial expenditure
information public?

1.	Do current candidate have a position on providing full financial
transparency of OIDF moving forward?

Thanks!

David
