I understand the need to get OpenID Login working in time....

The login facility is for foundation members on the official OpenID site
and I suggest that it should be neutral as possible. It endorses
currently AOL, Google and Yahoo prominently and to a lesser extend
Claimid, Myopenid, Verisign and other providers. Considering that not
all possible providers can be listed, I suggest that none should be
promoted in a special way. If it is not possible to remove all
endorsements, I suggest to fix the original library in due time.

Please remember, this is about OpenID proper, no matter how popular a
provider might be, it shouldn't be reflected in such a way. The
classical login was in my opinion the right thing. Specially considering
that many foundation members (well, it's a wild guess actually) aren't
those using the ones offered as preferred choices. My two cents.
