Hi Snorri,
Congratulations on getting this alive! I see a lot of work here. I've
spent the morning reading through everything and you get my vote. I
would like to add something though and I was not sure if I should just
edit the wiki or not, so I place it here for you ....
You mention that discussions on list are often not picked up and I
agree, but I think that is because of the lack of focal area that the
"general" list provides. As well as "local" chapters forming I would
also like to see "special interest groups" (working groups/interest
groups) forming. Discussions such as social networking, OAuth
interoperability and usability appear time and time again and are not
picked up because no one is there to pick them up, hence I would love to
see people have the ability (with board approval) to submit a spacial
interest group request to OpenID foundation. If the application is
successful a "purpose of group" is defined and a list created. Each
group has a maintainer who's job it is to guide the group towards its
goals... this is pretty much a copy of the w3c approach and it works for
them.
