The trick, as usual, is to keep the "small pieces loosely joined" true  
as the pieces are put together much more tightly from a productization  
perspective. Right now FB and OpenID are the opposite ends of the  
spectrum -- the truth might well be somewhere in the middle ... let  
try and find out!
