Funny you mention SPKI. I had the same thought about 2h ago. You gave me the impetus to actually send the memo I had been writing.
 
SPKI was all over the map. And it was in the wrong forum (the engineering centric IETF). It would have done much better in web design culture.
 
I think we are on the same page today, however, Eric. Id encourage folks to go read the SPKI RFC, and ripoff ideas. Dont read it too literally, as an engineer. Read it for its vision.

So I reckon someone should have paid attention when the
SPKI folks were talking.  Oh well, our idea is always
better than yours, isn't it?
