[OpenID] Changes to the website coming soon ...

I still have the question of why not MovableType 4 since it supports OpenID within the core? Wordpress has OpenID support as a plugin, so despite the fact that I do work for Six Apart, I feel that we as a community should be supporting the technologies and products which support us. (http://www.movabletype.com/blog/2007/09/openid-built-in-with-mt4.html)
If there are any doubts in terms of if MovableType can do this, one installation runs http://movabletype.org/ and http://movabletype.com/. Take a look at the following posts as well:
Plugins - http://www.movabletype.org/2007/09/a_plethora_of_plugins.html
CMS features - http://www.movabletype.org/2007/08/custom-fields-beta.html
Docs - http://www.movabletype.org/2007/08/more_docs_than_a_hospital.html
If the issue is unfamiliarity, that is something that should be easy to resolve since I do work at Six Apart. :)

Hi Everybody,
David and I are working with the kind folks at Vidoop to help get the
website and wiki up-to-date and in the 21st century. For the next few
days things may be a little iffy as we shuffle things around on the
website and move the wiki, etc.
One thing we will be doing is moving the wiki over to wiki.openid.net
(although old URL's should still work) and getting rid of the pesky
index.php in every URL.
We're moving to WordPress on the main pages and the folks at Vidoop
have been kind enough to dedicate some designer/developer resources to
the effort. We'll be looking for someone to port the design over to
MediaWiki so if you know how to make MediaWiki themes, by all means,
let me know!
We're shooting to deploy on Monday of next week and work out any kinks
on Tuesday. If you have problems, please contact myself
(scott at kveton.com) or David (recordond at gmail.com) and we'll get them
handled!
Thanks everybody!
- Scott
