[OpenID] Can one use Generic OpenIds

It makes sense to use generic OpenIDs for companies, groups, roles,
software agents etc., why not? Especially in combination with the other
protocols which are about to come for authentication without the browser,
making URL-based identity ubiquitous everywhere. However, it was nice if
we had an explicit mechanism to describe what a certain OpenID is - just a
"tag" in the XRDS document for instance.
