[OpenID] Conformance and Interop

This is just the question I was pondering. I am promoting the idea
to an NFP organisation for managing their members' extranet (around
5000 users). This process involves imparting confidence that the
OpenID concept is sound and that at least one OP is implementing best
practice and can be trusted. Yes, I know, this a tall order but it
needs doing and I think the time is right for this type of app.

It would be very useful to have a good FAQ addressing this issue and,
in due course, agreed and documented best practice plus some form of
assurance process. If this was backed by hard evidence of
interoperability so much the better.

I looked around the site for the beginnings of this, thinking that I
might contribute to it but did not find anything. Has this been
addressed? Is it something that would concern the
Foundation? Anyone else want to work on this? Or am I getting ahead of myself?
