[OpenID] OpenID Attributes - axschema.org

In the interests of getting a set of attributes for OpenID Attribute  
Exchange (AX) out into the open so work can move forward, Sxip has  
set up axschema.org. Anyone interested in using or defining  
attributes in OpenID is welcome to participate.

Defining new attributes (or changing existing ones) is a community  
process, outlined on the home page of the site, and decisions will be  
made based on feedback on the mailing list.

Given the popularity of the Simple Registration extension (SREG),  
there are attributes already defined that map directly to the values  
used in SREG, to make it easy on those wanting to migrate to AX.

Since axschema.org is primarily about defining (and hosting)  
attribute types, the actual metadata for these types is a work in  
progress. A lot of good things are already happening on  
identityschemas.org, and the goal is to leverage that work as much as  
possible.
