The Foundation Board recently adopted a (so far) embryonic document
describing its policies and procedures.

This document helps us on the board to keep operating the way we want to
operate, and it gives everybody else the ability to understand how we
do. (and allows you to point out specific policies and procedures that
you believe should be changed if you are so inclined.)

It is embryonic as it is intended to grow as needed, so you will likely
find many areas that are simply undefined at this point.

I have checked this document into SVN, you can get it at

SVN also gives you the ability to track how we evolve these policies and
procedures going forward. Obviously, our overriding goal is transparency
so the community can see what the board is up to.

Hopefully somebody with access to the webserver could link it into a
more convenient spot some time (hint, hint! ;-))
