Depending on your definitions, this might or might not be the case.  For 
example AIM users and (likely already) ICQ users get to use the same URL 
format.  Are they AOL users according to your definition, or more to the 
point, your lawyers' definitions?  I don't know.  I think this sort of 
proves Martin's point though.

(Having just gone through a change-of-status -- panzerjohn no longer 
works for AOL, but I still own the identity as a courtesy -- I'm very 
sensitive to the issues involved on all sides.)
