A few things about that concern me, just at first glance..

- It's a lot of overhead to find a few extra values that could be
supported in the initial message.
- You cannot have request-specific description messages.
- It couples RP data with a source that may or may not be controlled
by the same people working on or configuring the RP, and forces
implementors to learn yet another data format.
