[OpenID] Problems with simple registration

If I send a user to their provider like so:

http://www.myopenid.com/server?openid.mode=checkid_immediate
	&openid.identity=http://rickmeasham.myopenid.com/
	&openid.return_to=<blahblah>
	&openid.trust_root=http://some.site/
	&openid.assoc_handle=<blahblah>
	&openid.sreg.optional=email,nickname,fullname

myopenid.com isn't doing anything about the simple reg (sreg) option. 
I'm not being asked to choose a profile, just to sign in.

At first I thought it was because I only have one profile, so it never 
asks. However I never get the data back from the provider either.

I'm sure I'm doing something obviously wrong. Please enlighten me :-D
