[OpenID] ANN: OpenID Attribute Exchange draft 7

Hello everyone,

Along with the recent release of OpenID Authentication 2.0 draft 12  
[1] (a strong "release candidate"), I'm pleased to announce that the  
recently published OpenID Attribute Exchange 1.0 draft 7 [2] has  
reached the same point in its evolution: pending interoperability  
testing, I believe it's ready to be called v1.0 final.

During the last few months we've worked out the details and issues  
involved in transporting identity data using OpenID in a simple yet  
flexible and powerful enough way, so that attributes other than  
"authentication" can be transported using OpenID.

We look forward to seeing the latest draft of Attribute Exchange  
being implemented together with the latest OpenID Authentication  
draft, so that at the end of the interoperability period proposed by  
Josh we finally have a solid and powerful identity protocol.
