The problem is that it IS, whether we like it or not. I've lost count of
the number of times I've seen someone smart say "so I decided to have a
play with OpenID, but after 30 minutes of searching I couldn't figure
out how to get one so I gave up". That just shouldn't happen.
People will go to openid.net expecting it to tell them how to get
started with OpenID. If it doesn't, the site has failed. We can tell
people "it's for developers" until we're blue in the face, but that just
means that they don't get the answers that they need.
