[OpenID] previously proposed logo redesign

I could agree with the need for distinguishing between OpenID 1.x and OpenID
2.0. However I don't think it justifies a complete redesign.

 

Look at Microsoft Passport <http://www.passport.net/> . Even though they
rebranded their name the logo was changed in a way that kept the concept
similar:

 

* Passport

 Live ID

 

Some people may (correctly) argue that OpenID bears little resemblance to
Passport. Still, I believe the OpenID community could learn something from
Microsoft in terms of marketing strategy.
