Barnraiser intregration of OpenID

Hi,

I am the maintainer of several free software products at Barnraiser 
(http://www.barnraiser.org/). Our core product is AROUNDMe; a platform 
to bring people together around shared goals, activities and interests 
to form a shared knowledge network. It contains amongst other things 
registration and social networking.

As part of our mission we incubate social projects globally. We have 
decided to integrate OpenID into our product range starting with 
AROUNDMe and to write into all our guides the process of each project 
starting their own OpenID service.

Our next major release is due in December 2006 and it will be tight to 
reach full integration by that time so I was wondering if you have any 
good examples of integration into PHP based registration systems? 
Basically I'm looking for a "shortcut / kick start" way to integrate 
OpenID. Is there any examples / tutorials you could point me to?

All our software, knowledge and documentation is available for free. All 
source released under GPL (which would include any code we write for 
OpenID).
