Purpose of general at openid.net

Just a meta-question. (not directed at the specific parties to this thread)
Is this list the right place for non-openid-protocol code questions? I mean,
do we want people to come here for non-interop questions about specific
openid implementations, or should we be encouraging that discussion be taken
elsewhere?
I only say this because if openid takes off, the volume of email about "how
do I install X on Y to do Z" will swamp all other email and we'd lose the
purpose of this list.

Replace imagejpeg with imagepng, and where it says
header("Content-Type: image/jpeg");
or some such, change the MIME type to "image/png". That should really be
sufficient.
Then again, if you're lacking the GD library (which would be the only reason
I can think of that imagejpeg wouldn't work), you're SOL.

That is correct - and I've isolated the problem, it's imagejpeg
-function which is not working properly - is there any easy way to
replace jpeg with png image? My other application is using png images.
I guess it's php installation issue, but to be honest, I have no idea
what I need to add into my system, and shooting into darkness is not my
thing... :)
