The Wiki, iNames and OpenID accounts

This isn't an issue with the xri.net proxy resolver -- it's more complex
than that. See my reply to Avery's original message coming next.

It uses the XRI proxy resolver to obtain the XRDS for the XRI. It
seems to me that this is a problem with the proxy resolver and its
interface rather than a problem with the application. To be useful,
the proxy resolver should be able to do whatever a local resolution
library would do. If resolving an "i-link" is not in the scope of the
resolving library, then we need some support code from the XRI
community.

Until there are well tested and deployed XRI resolution libraries
available, I expect that you will be able to find cases where the
OpenID libraries do not quite get it right. We (unfortunately) don't
have the resources to be XRI experts, and we're mostly waiting for
standard XRI libraries that can handle the details for us.
