My only concern was that the page titles and the "URL names" are (unless
I'm mistaken) bound together inextricably in MediaWiki, so all of the
Japanese pages are going to have titles like "Some English Thing-ja"
rather than having a title in Japanese as you'd (presumably) expect.
The Mediawiki inter-wiki links allow the title to differ from language
to language, and it seems that the system is then able to generate, from
some little tags shoved in the pages, a "view this page in other
languages" bar on the sidebar, which doesn't seem that useful when
Japanese is the only language, but it'll scale much better if we end up
having various language versions of the OpenID wiki.
My thoughts:
* Make the OpenID wiki be the main page at OpenID.net. Right now it's
just duplicating most of the content on the main site anyway.
* Have jp.openid.net which then becomes a Japanese translation of the
*entire* OpenID site, because the OpenID site is now a mediawiki site.
* Use inter-wiki links to bind the various language versions together.
