This is a great note; definitely list worthy ... :-)

This is a very interesting idea and one that maybe we should look at closer.
Are folks feeling more that we just don't need a re-design or is it that the
options just aren't knocking anybody's socks off?

Looking at what microformats came up with, I just love it and am compelled
to want to use the icons:

They also look particularly professional and fairly easy to understand
across language as well.  I'm not saying we need a whole icon set, just
curious if we found a better design, would that make a difference?
