Disabling Wiki Talk Pages

Am thinking that it would be best to disable the talk pages on the wiki
so that there aren't both conversations on the mailing lists as well as
on the wiki that people need to follow.  Planning to make the discussion
links go off to the mailing list page on the wiki.  Speak now if you
object.  Really want to use the wiki to help support the discussion on
the mailing lists, versus have parallel conversations.
