OpenID & MediaWiki: What's the current state?

I'm not too surprised about that.  The patch page does say CVS HEAD,
but that's misleading as it really means "CVS HEAD as it looked
several months ago."  I'd go after fixing the mediawiki extension that
Evan of Wikitravel wrote, as that is 1) newer, 2) IMHO better, and 3)
written in the mediawiki style.  I don't really follow what you mean
about the problems with that extension, but Evan can help with that if
he's around.
