<p dir="auto">DADE CG,</p><p dir="auto"></p><p dir="auto">Over the weekend, the draft white paper and planning guide were provided to the OIDF board for their review. Thank you all for your help that allowed us to get to this point in the process. Below, I’m going to outline the next steps to be prepared for:</p><p dir="auto"></p><ul class="custom-editor-bullet-list-class" dir="auto"><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">2 week board review period ends September 19. </p></li><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">Following the board review period, both papers will be opened for a public review/commentary period. This is your opportunity to provide additional feedback to the documents that will be addressed before final publication. We expect to be in public review by Cyber Security Awareness Month in October.</p></li><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">Final publication dates are TBD in Q4 2025.</p></li></ul><p dir="auto"></p><p dir="auto">Last, I want to note that OIDF’s outside counsel reviewed the planning guide and raised specific concerns that we need to address to de-risk the document. The version of the document sent to the board has addressed these concerns by adding a statement indicating that this document is not legal advice and removing Section 6: Choosing a Digital Estate Manager.
