[Code] Maintainer of PHP OpenID library?

I'd support that. Janrain appears to have gone to a services based model:
"It can be difficult and time consuming to install and maintain your
own OpenID library. Janrain Engage is a SaaS solution that makes it
easy to add OpenID and other social network logins on your site."
and the last code release for php-openid is from April 29, 2010 (so
about 1.5 years old, safe to say not very active).
I assume as package maintainer for Fedora I'd be able to simply start
using the "new" code without creating a new package, or?
