[Code] Maintainer of PHP OpenID library?

Hi all,

In December 2010, someone raised an "Issue" [1] on the PHP library
saying "WARNING: This is currently an unmaintained project"

The ticket cites a thread on this mailing list [2]. In response to
this ticket, a user, marcoceppi (included in the to-line above) stated
[3]:

"I've strongly considered forking this and apply to take over maintainer-ship."

Given that no-one else stepped up to take on the maintainer-ship, can
I propose that we accept Marco's kind offer (made in January and never
acknowledged!) - if it's still open - and help him take a degree of
control over the PHP aspect of this project.

There are currently 45 open issues against the PHP base, of which 11
of those have code attached to them, and some are even closed, and
don't know it - like this one [4].

I've been using this library in both my main projects, and I'd rather
not change the library when we have someone who was prepared, at least
9 or so months ago, to keep it maintained!
