[Code] PEAR DB for openid / php-openid

Hi,

I started using https://github.com/openid/php-openid to implement consumer
side on my PHP application.
it says it requires "pear/DB" which is deprecated in favor of "pear/MDB2". I
was wondering if php-openid is supporting it ?
any testing has been done? or should I wait and stay with the deprecated
"pear/DB"
