<p>David Recordon, Allen Tom, and I just got off the specs council call that we had. While our call didn't represent a quorum of the specs council, we agreed upon these points:</p>

the proposed working groups should proceed to be formed.</span> </li><li><span style="font-size:11pt">We
encourage all the working groups to work <span style="font-size:11pt">
together towards as a seamless a whole as possible.</span></span> </li><li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-size:11pt">There's
a growing recognition that there’s substantial commonality in the mechanisms behind the artifact binding, the connect proposal, and the possible evolution of the hybrid specification.</span></span></span>

encourage people to join the working groups and do the actual work, including implementations.</span></span></span></li></ul>
