As well I share my presentation from which I showed 2 slides yesterday which was for the Web Summit in Doha this week

Regarding XSTR.gidi, establishing it, was the result of many things and the good work from SIDI and Gail and I am sure some of you and Debora. My job was in the background to gain pre-consensus with a number of key member states which is why I put my weight on it and this gave birth to the workshop in June that the steering committee will start perhaps in a few weeks

In the meantime I will be at IETF 125 in Shenzhen btw if anyone is there. My goal to help the BoF on the overall agentic AI topic

I take good note of the community work here and cadence. I will do my best to participate when I can as I am based in Geneva and assuming family radar will allow me to stay in late evenning.

I can certainly have a look at your documents especially on terminology and taxonomy but please give me a bit of time, ITU-T SG17 is quite of a machine and my modernisation plan is way above target, with a jump to 400 participants, 57 member states and a nearly 15 new members in the pipeline on top of nearly 10 that arrived to a point I don't have the time to announce to my group.

We have nearly 200 work items in its work program, 40 just on AI with tons of new topics like Digital Emblems, Child Online Protection, PQC, QKD, ... so I am a 'bit' busy.

But clearly Digital Identity is a priority and I will do what I can to help all of you and ensure good conditions at SG17 level.

Arnaud Teddei SG17 chair and I presented the ITU-T work item on digital identity as relates to governance and spec progress (and gaps) for human, enterprise, and non-human identity. This item was accepted in December 2025 at the ITU=T plenary and work will continue this year in three forms, a workshop in March 30-31, a June workshop and a July workshop all in Geneva. The UK gov advocated for the progression of this work in those forums, and the EC provided concrete feedback (highlighted in yellow) on the TD145 draft attached.

If you have comments on the work item, please let me, Arnaud and Debora know.
