Dear all,

Please find below the minutes of our MODRNA call on Tue Jun 9, 2020
Please let me know of any error or misunderstanding in taking notes.

Roll Call
Bjorn Hjelm (Verizon), John Bradley, Nat Sakimura, Philippe Clement (Orange), David Pollington (GSMA), Gautam Hazari (GSMA), Hubert Mariotte (Orange), Kosuke Koiwai (KDDI), Martin Drews

Adoption of the Agenda [Bjorn/John]

External Organizations

Automotive Identity initiative and use cases [David Pollington]
David Pollington (GSMA) presented slides of the automotive identity initiative (GSMA) about automotive identity and relations with CMP and MNP. The automotive identity initiative is looking for easy provisioning of mobile account into the cars, the goal is to define and specify a framework for automotive identity. This approach will be easier for the user than coupling a smartphone with the car.
Remarks are made around security to avoid Man In the Middle Attacks.
The object of the presentation is to see how MODRNA can contribute to the effort, for example for the functional design.

Mobile Connect R3 Next Steps [Orange]
Hubert talked about last tech subgroup that took place 2 weeks ago. GSMA shared the cost to charge for any new API. Discussion about next steps: MNO to ask internally for faisability, waiting for MNO feedback.
Presentation will be shared on the list.

Working Group Updates
Nat from FAPI
1- FAPI v1
On the way to finalize v1 of FAPI profile CIBA to take them to final. Voting expected for final after summer.
2- FAPI 2.0: developed, expected to become implementers draft by end of year.
Nat is questioning about CIBA core profile and when it will take a final status. In the case of this profile be part of FAPI, changes to CIBA core profile could be more complicated.
This question concerns the OID process. Maybe splitting the spec into 2 parts could be an option, with a part 1 as final.
==> Bjorn: question to Brian and Dave

Specification Status
Authentication profile:
John: no contact from DT.

Bjorn has posted new versions of the MODRNA Discovery Profile<https://openid.net/specs/openid-connect-modrna-discovery-1_0.html> and MODRNA CIBA Profile<https://openid.net/specs/openid-connect-modrna-client-initiated-backchannel-authentication-profile-1_0.html>. Please take some time to review them and open any issues

OpenID Certification for MODRNA
Hubert: confirms Orange has implemented User Questionning API, with no testing platform. That could represent the first input to the certification program for the MODRNA profile.
More information to be shared with the group at next meeting.
