Hello,

Just FYI. Regarding claims for mDL (mobile Driver's License), which was one
of the topics during today's eKYC WG meeting. The "Driving licence in
Japan" page in Wikipedia shows what information a driving license in Japan
has.

*Driving License in Japan (Wikipedia)*
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Driving_licence_in_Japan

Among the claims, "License number" is the unique number. The page does not
describe details but the 12-digit number consists of the following
information.

*The 1st and 2nd digits from the left:*
The number of the local public safety commission that has issued the first
driving license to the person. (e.g. "30" means "Tokyo".)

*The 3rd and 4th digits from the left:*
The last 2 digits of the year when the first driving license of the person
was issued. (e.g. "82" means "1982".)

*The 6 digits from the 5th to the 10th from the left:*
A number assigned by the local public safety commission for management.

*The 11th digit from the left:*
A check digit.

*The 12th digit (the rightmost one):*
The number of reissuance due to loss.
