As a final incentive to test the new certification system soon, you can now get free certifications using the new system without having to also test with the old system. See the instructions at https://openid.net/certification/migration/ and get testing!

The certification team could really use your feedback on the new test suite before we decommission the old one. If you have an implementation, please take a few hours in the next few weeks to run both and tell us about your experiences.

Subject: Opportunity for free Connect certifications - help us test the tests
As described during the recent virtual OpenID workshop, we have started the migration from the existing Python-based certification suite to the new Java-based conformance suite for OpenID Connect certifications. See https://openid.net/certification/migration/. As an incentive to help us test the new tests, while the Java suite is in pilot mode we will be waiving the certification fee for members submitting certifications for those who submit results from *both* testing suites. That will help us identify any issues that we need to address in the new suite before advancing it to production status.
Note that we're still working on OP and RP third-party initiated login tests and on OP logout tests. We'll update you as these also go into pilot mode.
Please send any issues encountered to certification at oidf.org<mailto:certification at oidf.org> and/or submit issues at https://gitlab.com/openid/conformance-suite/-/issues.
Thanks from the certification team,
