From my eyes, the title and the premise don’t match. They are basically saying that we are past the early stage of adoption, and now people care more about solving problems than getting their hands dirty (just like nearly every tech market). Customers don't need or want to know “how the sausage is made” when their goal isn’t to make sausage.

A better title might have been “When it comes to build vs buy, most people we see now want to just buy an IAM solution because building one is hard and not part of their corporate mission”. Well, that’s a bit long - so I see why they went with the click-baity one instead.
