Another good catch.  I created http://hg.openid.net/connect/issue/715/messages-2111-delete-profile-from-request to track this issue.

The example in 2.1.1.1 [1] shows a scope="openid profile" and then individual userinfo claims including name, nickname and picture, which are claims defined as default profile Claims at the UserInfo Endpoint in 2.4 [2]. It's confusing to me. What does that request mean and/or why would one make a request like that?
