I suspect many of us are on Ping's mailing list, but I thought it worth
sharing this particular Webinar that they are having on OpenID security, as
it says volumes about OpenID's current position in the market.

Note the bullet on whitelists. Now that Ping is an OP, does this telegraph
Ping getting into the OP whitelist business?

** Reminder **

Strategies for Making OpenID More Secure

OpenID has attracted a lot of attention lately, but security experts are
warning of significant vulnerabilities with the system. This is especially
important if you are considering implementing OpenID for more than no-value
transactions.

In this Webinar, you will learn how to improve the security of OpenID
deployments. Plus, you will have the opportunity to see secure OpenID in
action. In 30 short minutes, we will answer these questions and more:

*	Why is SSL still a critical security component?
*	What is a white list and what is the easiest way to implement one?
*	Why is phishing still a concern and what can you do about it?
