don't you tell us?

Better yet (and seconding Chris Messina's advice), why not just go 
ahead and implement it yourself? Forget about waiting for the rest of 
us to be convinced ;)

Or were you informally trying to request a quote for one of us to do 
it on contract? You seem to be very quick to suggest that "someone" 
do it right away, but oddly lacking in the volunteer attitude - you 
know Javascript, step forward with a plan and offer to lead a 
movement within the community. See how many followers you can 
attract. Join the specs list, start a discussion about creating a 
Working Group to develop your idea further.
