Hi,

I permit changed only the colors of the new OpenID logo of Randy (JPG
attached)

I invite you to choose which you prefer? :)

Personally it's "2" (and why not "4/5")

Cheers

Hey all,
Randy Reddig (who designed the current OpenID logo) has done some work to
update it to "v3". This version keeps the same general look and feel of the
logo, though makes some updates to make it more recognizable especially at
smaller sizes. You can read his blog post at
http://www.ydnar.com/2008/01/third-go-around.html to learn more about his
thoughts and the changes. From a bulleted list perspective, the changes
are:
  - Added gap around ascender for small and single-color reproduction.
  - Gap increases in size when shape is scaled down.
  - Stem: Increased ascender height; reduced isometric perspective.
  - Arrow: Rotated, reshaped, non-square.
  - Type: Increased letter-spacing; Helvetica Neue Regular (vs Light).
  - Color: Darker gray for curve/arrow; Pantone DS 32-1 C for stem; black
for type

You can take a look at it at:
  - http://shaderlab.com/openid/v3/openid-logo-v3-small.pdf
  - http://shaderlab.com/openid/v3/openid-logo-v3-large-mono.pdf
  - http://shaderlab.com/openid/v3/openid-logo-v3-small-mono.pdf

Then a specially created 16x16 at
http://shaderlab.com/openid/v3/openid-16x16.gif
which should look *much better* than the current one
http://openid.net/login-bg.gif .

I'm certainly excited, thanks Randy! Anyone vehemently disagree with
updating the logo to this new version?

--David
