I took Eran's comment to indicate that he believes in privacy in  
accordance with the bylaws of the OIDF.

That personal information should not be disclosed outside of some very  
strict rules for general members.

He just doesn't believe that privacy to the extent of anonymity on the  
net exists at-least for himself.

I don't think he was advocating removing anyones rite to privacy  
outside of the IPR rules around contributing to work groups.

Eran is more than qualified to make his own point however.

Personally I don't have a problem with anonymity on the general list  
as long as the comments are within the acceptable norm.

I consider your posts to well within that norm, so no problem there.

On the other hand there is a need for transparency and accountability  
on the Board and in the Working Groups.

I don't think anyone is advocating anonymous board members?

For a number of reasons stated I could not and would not support  
anonymous WG members.
