[OpenID] OpenID, P2P and decentralization

Hello,
I'm new to openid, but I'd be very interested in working on something 
like this.

The other interest I have is in what I think of as affinity groups - 
clusters of servers or p2p groups that share reputations. I haven't 
stumbled on a place this is discussed - sorry if I'm missing something 
obvious?
